Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Quesada Burritos And Tacos. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Manage Staff: Hire, train, and manage a team of food service staff, ensuring that they are motivated and equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment for our staff and customers.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform our business decisions.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Work Setting: Fast food outlet or concession in an urban area.
- Supervision: 3-4 people or 5-10 people, depending on the location.
- Certificates and Licenses: Safe Food Handling certificate.
- Transportation: Public transportation is available.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, and attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, team player, and initiative.
The language of work is English.
Work Hours:32.5 to 35 hours per week.
