Food Service Manager

Canada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure excellent performance.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that all necessary materials are available.
- Hire and train food service staff to meet the needs of our customers.
- Ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
- Establish and manage work schedules to ensure efficient use of staff and resources.
- 5-10 years of experience in food service management, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly and effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- Fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and pressure to perform.
- Standing for extended periods and frequent lifting and carrying of heavy objects.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues as needed.
- English is the primary language of communication in this role.
- 30-36 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts and weekends as required.
