About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at SUSHI JET ASIAN CUISINE. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining area and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Dishwashing: Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and sanitize dishes and other items by hand.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, and portion and wrap foods for service.
  • Stock Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and handle and store cleaning products.
  • General Maintenance: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
