About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Young Pocha Korean BBQ Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and providing exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Scour pots and pans to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and appliances
  • Food Preparation
    • Prepare and portion food for service
    • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
  • Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • Waste Management
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Maintenance and Organization
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
    • Sharpen kitchen knives
  • Food Handling
    • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
Work Environment

As a Kitchen Assistant at Young Pocha Korean BBQ Restaurant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
