Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and food safety.
- Dishroom Operations: Operate dishwashers, wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, and flatware by hand, and place them in storage areas.
- Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
- Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity. You will be required to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
