Role Overview

As a Strategic Business Development Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping QinetiQ's growth trajectory by developing and executing a comprehensive business development strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and capitalize on emerging market opportunities within the defense and security sectors, aligning with QinetiQ's core competencies.
  • Drive revenue growth by maximizing sales deliverability and profitability across a diverse portfolio of solutions.
  • Lead and manage the entire sales lifecycle, from initial prospect identification to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including engineering, product development, and marketing, to ensure seamless delivery of value to clients.
  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and potential investors.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management regarding market trends, competitive landscape, and business opportunities.
