Lead Environmental Remediation Expert

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and accomplished environmental remediation leader to join our team as Vice President of Remediation and Reclamation. As a key member of our Canadian leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our remediation and reclamation service line, driving strategic growth, and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute a service line strategy aligned with our company's overall strategy, focusing on ambitious growth and diversification into new markets and geographies.
  2. Establish and maintain a strong safety culture, consistent with our values, and ensure accountability for profit and loss performance.
  3. Lead a team of professionals, empowering them to make sound business decisions and prioritize technical and resourcing priorities that drive company success.
  4. Maintain a robust business development pipeline, building and maintaining strong relationships with strategic clients and emerging clients.
  5. Prioritize client and project pursuits, required resources, and monitor customer satisfaction to improve client experience.

Requirements

  1. Extensive experience in environmental consulting, particularly in assessment, remediation, reclamation, and monitoring in Canada, with a preference for experience in mining, energy, power, and industrial sectors.
  2. A successful track record of leading large, safe, and profitable operations while expanding into new markets.
  3. Strong relationships and reputation within the environmental sector as a strategic, respected leader and knowledgeable professional.
  4. Demonstrated success in achieving ambitious growth targets and decisiveness in identifying priorities, resolving business challenges, and managing diverse stakeholder requirements.
  5. Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, geoscience, or environmental sciences, and a minimum of 8 years in a management role.
