As the Vice President of Remediation & Reclamation, you'll be a key member of our Canadian leadership team, leading a service line of over 190 professionals. Your strategic vision and operational expertise will drive growth, profitability, and a culture that values safety above all else.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy
  • Contribute to the development of strategy for the Canadian business, aligning with the company's overall strategy and growth objectives.
  • Develop a service line strategy that drives ambitious growth and diversification into new markets and geographies.
  • Collaborate with other leaders to identify opportunities for cross-service line and cross-border collaboration and growth opportunities.
Operations
  • Establish and maintain a strong safety culture that reflects our values.
  • Maintain accountability for profit and loss performance while creating an environment that values quality and continuous improvement.
  • Support and mentor the members of your service line leadership team, empowering them to make sound business decisions.
  • Make significant project-related decisions.
  • Prioritize technical and resourcing priorities within the service line to drive company success.
Growth
  • Maintain a robust business development pipeline that aligns with our growth and profitability expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic clients and emerging clients.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction on projects executed within the service and prioritize activities that improve client experience.
  • Prioritize client and project pursuits and required resources.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on assessment, remediation, reclamation, and monitoring in Canada.
  • A successful track record leading large, safe, profitable operations while expanding into new markets.
  • Strong relationships and reputation within the environmental sector as a strategic, respected leader and knowledgeable professional.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving ambitious growth targets.
  • Demonstrated decisiveness in identifying priorities, resolving business challenges, and managing diverse stakeholder requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, geoscience, or environmental sciences.
  • A minimum of 8 years in a management role.
