Position Overview

As a Food and Beverage Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests at East Side Mario's Oakville. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring customer satisfaction and delivering a memorable dining experience.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Prepare and serve specialty dishes directly at customers' tables.
  • Present bills to customers and process payments via cash, credit or debit cards, and other accepted methods.
  • Provide detailed descriptions of menu items, including daily specials.
  • Offer recommendations on menu selections to enhance the dining experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness by clearing and sanitizing tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Assist customers in selecting wines and provide insights on wine pairings.
  • Welcome patrons, present menus, and answer inquiries regarding food and beverages.
  • Manage inventory of wines and related glassware.
  • Conduct sensory evaluations of wines to ensure quality.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently.
  • Take customer orders and communicate them to kitchen and bar staff.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service consistently.
Work Environment
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel as needed.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of handling heavy loads.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required.
  • Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods.
