About the Role

The PT Admissions Coordinator role is a dynamic opportunity to join our fast-paced Admissions team at General Assembly. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to students interested in our course offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for students, understanding their interests and providing guidance on our course offerings.
  • Respond promptly to student inquiries, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Conduct outbound calls to interested students who have requested more information.
  • Respond to inbound emails and texts from interested students.
  • Maintain a positive and personable attitude, creating a helpful experience for all potential students.
  • Route potential students to appropriate Admissions team members, documenting student information in our internal database.
  • Develop creative solutions to problems that arise, providing support to students navigating their educational path.
  • Assist current and prospective students with questions about our organization and upcoming workshops, courses, and immersive opportunities.
  • Demonstrate the ability to stay engaged and on task in a remote work environment.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience providing high-level customer service.
  • 0-1 years of sales experience with a demonstrated ability to concept sell the benefits of a service/product.
  • 2+ years of work experience in a call center environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for education, technology, and our mission to empower students to pursue their passions.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with a strong work ethic.
