Job Title: Learning and Development Specialist

This is a 12-month contract opportunity to join the People & Culture team at John Brooks Company Limited.

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Learning & Development Specialist to design and implement career frameworks and onboarding programs that empower employees to grow and thrive in their careers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct training needs analysis and assessments to identify training requirements across departments and recommend tailored learning solutions.
  • Create training programs that support employee development and career progression.
  • Work closely with senior management, department heads, and other internal stakeholders to gather feedback and insights that inform the development of training materials and career progression pathways.
  • Lead and manage training projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, approved budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Develop metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and career framework initiatives, providing regular reports to stakeholders on progress and outcomes.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in training and development, making recommendations for program enhancements.
Requirements
  • College diploma or university degree in a related field.
  • Between 6-9 years of relevant experience in the training, learning, and career development space.
  • Project management experience; excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in learning management systems and training technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in computer and software skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
