About the Role

The Institute for Performance and Learning is seeking an Experiential Learning Officer to join our team. As an Experiential Learning Officer, you will play a key role in enriching the undergraduate education experience by promoting and nurturing unique opportunities and approaches to learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct labour market analysis to inform program and partnership development
  • Develop and revise business methods that support employment services activities and objectives
  • Ensure contracts and agreements are consistent with University standards and guidelines
  • Stay up-to-date on policies, rules, regulations, and guidelines
  • Implement plans that support the development of work-integrated learning opportunities for students
  • Provide guidance and support to students, faculty, and staff on experiential learning opportunities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience
  • Minimum five years of related experience in an experiential learning environment
  • Experience matching, placing, and supporting students in for-credit student placements
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to understand and apply complex community and university policies and regulations
  • Ability to positively represent the Institute in the community and to all members of the University community
