Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused In-Room Dining Server to join our team at AccorHotel. As an In-Room Dining Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests by providing prompt and courteous service while delivering food and beverage orders to their rooms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Food and Beverage Service
    • Have complete knowledge of our In-Room Dining menu and ensure awareness of all menu specials, shortages, or item specifics on a per shift basis
    • Have basic knowledge of wine and spirits
    • Receive orders via telephone, correctly enter items into our Point of Sale system, set food service cart appropriately, and deliver food and beverages directly to guest rooms
    • Communicate with guests the applicable service charges and acceptable payment methods
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Maintain ongoing communication with Kitchen team and other In-Room Dining staff on a regular basis
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance
    • Polish silverware and glassware
    • Accurately check, restock, and charge Mini Bar baskets in guest rooms
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Work shifts in the Cafe as needed

Qualifications

  • Alberta ProServe Certification
  • Capable of meeting the physical demands of the position
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organized with solid time-management skills
  • Competent in POS and comfortable handling cash
