Brookfield Properties is in search of a skilled Estimator to enhance our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in coordinating with various stakeholders to guarantee the precision of data for project execution. Your duties will encompass generating purchase orders, evaluating custom pricing, and managing change orders effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough cost assessments and budget evaluations
  • Work collaboratively with the construction team to devise effective solutions
  • Calculate and maintain comprehensive material take-offs
  • Prepare detailed project estimates and perform cost evaluations
  • Stay informed about industry trends and developments
  • Review project budgets and purchase orders meticulously
  • Identify areas for enhancing quality and cost efficiency
  • Support ongoing construction initiatives
  • Maintain precise job documentation
  • Facilitate effective communication with team members and subcontractors
  • Resolve site-related issues promptly
  • Establish strong relationships with suppliers
  • Prepare cost comparisons and tender documentation
  • Assist in the contract awarding process
  • Ensure accurate invoice reconciliation and payment processing
  • Prepare budget assessments and cost evaluations

Requirements:

  • Preferred diploma in Building Technology
  • 1-5 years of experience in residential construction
  • Proficient in Estimating Software
  • Strong grasp of construction methodologies and systems
  • Ability to perform well under pressure
  • Exceptional communication abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
