The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction management and a proven track record of success in procurement and cost estimation. They will be responsible for preparing and reviewing construction cost estimates, managing purchases change requests, and preparing contract documents.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review construction cost estimates from the initial design stage to the final working drawings.
  • Meet with trade contractors and manage the contract award procedure.
  • Prepare, review, and edit contract documents.
  • Manage all aspects of Purchases Change Requests (PCR).
  • Prepare Purchaser's change order based on reviewed Purchases Change Requests (PCR).

We are looking for someone with:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as civil engineering, architecture, or construction management.
  • A minimum of three to five years of relevant work experience in construction management as an estimator/purchaser.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and On-Screen Takeoff computer programming.
