Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Manager of Services and Supports, the Coordinator is responsible for:
  • Providing leadership and resource management to ensure quality outcomes for individuals supported.
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations as per the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Collaborating with management and HR to effectively recruit, select, and orient staff.
  • Scheduling employee hours in compliance with employment contracts and applicable regulations.
  • Assisting in the training and development of staff, including coordination of necessary training programs.
  • Coordinating facility maintenance and service contracts for residential and community sites.
  • Maintaining operations within budgetary guidelines and authorizing expenditures as per finance policies.
  • Supporting payroll functions and service agreements.
  • Fostering positive relationships with families, partner agencies, and the community.
  • Ensuring the health and safety of supported individuals in accordance with relevant regulations.
  • Maintaining thorough and professional records for all individuals served.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • University degree or college diploma in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in human services.
  • Strong understanding of the Developmental Services sector and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Proficiency in database management and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Knowledge of employee scheduling is an asset.
  • Fluency in French is an asset.

Working Conditions:
  • Ability to complete Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification.
  • Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.
  • On-call coverage may be necessary.
  • A personal vehicle and valid driver's license are required for business travel.
