Junior DevOps Engineer

Rimex Supply Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior DevOps Engineer to join our team in Victoria, BC. As a key member of our DevOps team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support to the DevOps team and other stakeholders.
  2. Collaborate with DevOps and software engineers to design and implement infrastructure solutions.
  3. Remediate and maintain security and access controls for supported services.
  4. Support client and customer server and system needs when required.
  5. Contribute to internal software and firmware QA initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience:

  1. Experience with installing and maintaining Linux and Windows server operating systems.
  2. Knowledge of network communication and system firewalls.
  3. Experience with configuring Azure resources.
  4. MSSQL and SQL Server Management Studio experience.
  5. Programming and scripting language skills using SQL, Bash, PowerShell.
  6. Knowledge of KVM virtualization and Docker container configuration.
  7. Working knowledge of git.
  8. Proficiency in English language.
