Senior DevOps Engineer - Workday Everywhere

Workday, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our DevOps team, you will be responsible for driving a full-stack DevOps service ownership culture within our organization.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned DevOps professional with expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and security. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS Cloud Development Kit, Terraform, and other cloud technologies. You will work closely with our engineering team to evolve our system architecture and ensure high availability and disaster recovery compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage infrastructure resources using AWS Cloud Development Kit and Terraform.
  • Develop expertise in our system architecture and guide the engineering team to evolve it.
  • Implement production system changes to meet company requirements.
  • Build self-service tooling to empower application developers.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to production incidents.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced DevOps professional with a strong background in cloud infrastructure and automation. You should have a minimum of 7 years of experience, with at least 3 years as a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer. You should also have expertise in AWS technologies and experience with container deployment and orchestration.
