About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at Sandhu Dentistry. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Procedure Preparation
    • Prepare patients for dental examinations by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring they are comfortable and relaxed.
    • Assist dentists and hygienists with procedures, such as taking X-rays and preparing instruments.
  • Supply Management
    • Order and maintain dental and office supplies, ensuring that our practice is well-stocked and equipped to provide excellent patient care.
  • Administrative Support
    • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, confirming patient information, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Instrument Maintenance
    • Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment, ensuring that they are clean and ready for use.
  • Patient Education
    • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, including proper brushing and flossing techniques.
  • Front Desk Support
    • Provide excellent customer service, answering phone calls, and responding to patient inquiries.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a dental setting.
