Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Bramcountry Dental Clinic. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our medical staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Interaction
    • Conduct thorough interviews with patients to obtain accurate case histories
    • Schedule and confirm appointments in a timely manner
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and maintain accurate and confidential medical records
    • Process insurance claims and other paperwork
    • Order supplies and manage inventory
  • Communication and Documentation
    • Prepare and format medical reports and correspondence
    • Enter data into electronic systems and maintain accurate records
  • Team Collaboration
    • Support the dental team with administrative tasks and duties
    • Participate in meetings and take minutes as required
Requirements
  • Education
    • College diploma or CEGEP certificate in a related field
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in a medical office setting is an asset
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and other office software
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a busy dental clinic environment
  • Work Schedule
    • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
