Job Summary

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager I to join the Acute Care Facility team. The successful candidate will lead and coordinate all aspects of assigned projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion of project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate project activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including project teams, departmental leaders, and external partners.
  • Provide guidance and support to project staff, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, consultants, and other healthcare entities.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Health Services Administration, Business Administration, or a relevant healthcare discipline. A minimum of 5-7 years of recent experience in project management, with a proven track record of success in leading complex projects.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Proficiency in project management software, including Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
