Exciting Career Opportunity at Canada Post
If you are driven, skilled, and enthusiastic, consider a rewarding position at Canada Post. We are currently looking for a post office assistant who prioritizes customer satisfaction while delivering services at the counter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell postal products and services to both businesses and the general public;
- Accurately sort, distribute, and manage mail;
- Assist customers by providing information and necessary forms;
- Address delivery and service-related issues to ensure prompt and effective resolutions.
Qualifications:
- Completion of high school or an equivalent qualification, or relevant experience in business administration;
- Experience in customer interaction within retail or service settings, including handling sales and cash transactions;
- Familiarity with basic accounting practices or postal operations;
- Physical capability to lift mail containers weighing up to 50 lbs, maneuver boxes, sort mail, and maintain standing positions for extended periods;
- Willingness to be available for temporary on-call assignments.
