Claims Processing Coordinator

Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch application packages to clients through electronic and postal methods.
- Draft and send communications to clients, legal representatives, and other relevant parties.
- Coordinate with vendors for scheduling Insurer Examinations.
- Assist the department by organizing mail for claims files, managing department voicemail messages, and maintaining departmental software.
- Process invoices as instructed by adjusters and management.
- Establish new claims in the system.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of post-secondary education is essential; pursuing a CIP designation is preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in claims or a background in the healthcare sector.
- Proficient keyboarding and data entry capabilities.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective organizational and time management skills, along with sound decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.
