Ignis Global Recruitment is looking for a highly qualified and driven Senior Fire Protection Consultant with significant expertise in fire safety and protection consulting. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in a variety of construction projects, ensuring adherence to relevant Building and Fire Codes. This role demands a collaborative individual with outstanding communication skills, adept project management capabilities, and the ability to mentor less experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess architectural plans for regulatory compliance.
  • Develop creative strategies for fire safety and protection.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and regulatory bodies.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development initiatives.
  • Identify and pursue new business prospects.
  • Oversee project execution and guide project teams.
  • Draft project proposals and technical documentation.
  • Conduct quality assurance evaluations.
  • Inspect and assess buildings for regulatory adherence.
  • Attend project discussions and offer expert advice.
  • Expertly interpret building and fire regulations for project applications.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years in code consulting.
  • In-depth understanding of fire and life safety engineering principles.
  • Exceptional communication abilities.
  • Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Fire Protection.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Capability to manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Thorough knowledge of building design and construction processes.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Professional certification is preferred.
  • Ability to train and develop junior staff.

The compensation for this role is competitive, ranging from $110,000 to $160,000 CAD, with opportunities for performance bonuses and relocation support.
