Ignis Global Recruitment is on the lookout for a talented and experienced Senior Fire Protection Consultant who possesses a deep understanding of fire safety and protection consulting. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in a variety of construction projects, ensuring adherence to relevant Building and Fire Codes. This role demands a collaborative individual with outstanding communication skills, adept project management capabilities, and the ability to guide and mentor less experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate architectural plans for compliance with fire safety regulations.
  • Develop and recommend creative strategies for fire protection and life safety.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and regulatory bodies.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development initiatives.
  • Identify and pursue new business prospects.
  • Oversee project execution and lead project teams.
  • Draft project proposals and technical documentation.
  • Conduct quality assurance assessments.
  • Inspect and assess buildings for regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in project meetings, offering expert insights.
  • Apply knowledge of building and fire regulations to all projects.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in code consulting.
  • In-depth knowledge of fire protection and life safety engineering.
  • Exceptional communication abilities.
  • Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Fire Protection.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Capability to manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Thorough understanding of building design and construction processes.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Professional certification is a plus.
  • Experience in training and developing junior staff.

The compensation for this role is competitive, ranging from $110,000 to $160,000 CAD, with additional performance bonuses and relocation support available.
