About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Greenhouse Labourer to join our team at Evergreen Farming & Green House Ltd. as a Horticulture Assistant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greenhouse Maintenance: Ensure the greenhouse is clean and well-maintained, including tasks such as cleaning, pruning, and weeding.
  • Plant Care: Assist in the care of plants, including watering, fertilizing, and monitoring for signs of disease or pests.
  • Harvesting: Participate in the harvesting of vegetables and other crops, ensuring they are handled and stored properly.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of greenhouse activities, including tasks completed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced greenhouse environment, standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Physical Capabilities: The ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects is essential for this role.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
