Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Greenhouse Labourer to join our team at 2306422 Alberta Ltd. as a Horticulture Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the health and well-being of our plants, ensuring a high-quality crop yield.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greenhouse Maintenance: Clean and maintain the greenhouse environment, including the removal of weeds and debris.
  • Plant Care: Assist in the pruning of trees, shrubs, and plants, as well as the application of fertilizers and insecticides.
  • Soil Preparation: Mix and prepare soils for planting, ensuring optimal growing conditions.
  • Planting and Watering: Plant bulbs and seeds, and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens as needed.
  • Cleaning and Organization: Clean the work area and maintain a safe and organized workspace.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.

  • Work Hours: The position is permanent, with 35-40 hours per week.
