Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Greenhouse Labourer to join our team at Evergreen Farming & Green House LTD. As a Greenhouse Labourer, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and health of our greenhouse, ensuring the quality of our produce, and assisting in various tasks related to plant care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greenhouse Maintenance: Clean and maintain the greenhouse, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Plant Care: Assist in planting, watering, and pruning plants, as well as monitoring for signs of disease or pests.
  • Harvesting: Assist in hand harvesting vegetables and other crops.
  • Weeding and Pruning: Remove weeds and prune trees, shrubs, and plants to maintain a healthy and productive environment.
  • Reporting: Report any signs of insect or disease damage to the management team.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

The Greenhouse Labourer will work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels. The position requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling. The ability to work in a team environment and maintain attention to detail is essential.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.

  • Reliability: Ability to maintain a regular attendance record and meet deadlines.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals.
