Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Edo Japan - Stonegate Plaza-Grill and Sushi. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory levels.
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Administrative and Record-Keeping
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business improvement.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Standing for extended periods and attention to detail are essential.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
    • Dependability and a team player attitude are essential for success in this role.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 35 hours per week. The work language is English.
