Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the position of Cook. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they meet health and safety standards.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
