Role Overview:

As a Senior Analyst on the Credit Analysis & Support Team within the Automotive Finance sector, you will play a vital role in enhancing the profitability and quality of the Commercial Automotive portfolio. Your responsibilities will encompass executing credit administration tasks with the utmost precision for your designated portfolio. Key tasks include financial analysis, rating processes, monitoring compliance with required conditions, and maintaining comprehensive monitoring systems alongside other credit or fulfillment duties. Additionally, you will assist Senior Client Service Managers (CSMs) in preparing credit documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and Analyze Customer Reporting items (both interim and annual) by: Maintaining a thorough monitoring system to ensure timely completion of interim reporting; Updating relevant systems with necessary data to guarantee accuracy of customer reporting requirements; Accurately spreading interim financial statements in Moody's Risk Analyst (RA) as per authorized frequency; Performing trend analysis to assess client account health and determine risk ratings; Identifying overdue reporting items and proactively following up with clients to minimize outstanding items.
  • Support the Annual Review process and preparation of credit documentation by: Analyzing client files to identify annual review and rating refresh items; Preparing and completing spreads of annual financial statements and projections in RA; Conducting structuring and analytical functions along with other due diligence activities; Ensuring client files are current and complete in relevant systems, with all necessary correspondence stored appropriately; Liaising with syndicate banks to gather due diligence information required for analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with the Bank's Anti-Money Laundering program and Know Your Customer requirements by reporting any unusual occurrences or fraudulent activities in accordance with established procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Strong credit analysis skills, including the ability to write up deals, spread financials, assess risk, and draw informed conclusions.
  • Intermediate knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the industry sectors served, including Automotive floor planning, wholesale leasing, and commercial real estate.
  • Comprehensive understanding of all commercial lending products.
  • Proficient in personal computer applications, including Word & Excel, and relevant specialized software.
