Position:
Lead Analyst, Anti-Money Laundering

The Lead Analyst in the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) division plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and profitability of the Commercial Automotive portfolio. This position is tasked with executing credit administration responsibilities with the utmost precision and quality for the designated portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive financial analysis and credit assessments.
  • Monitoring compliance with required conditions and maintaining thorough oversight systems.
  • Assisting Senior Client Service Managers (CSMs) in the preparation of credit documentation.
  • Processing and analyzing customer reporting items, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
  • Utilizing Moody's Risk Analyst for financial statement analysis and trend monitoring.
  • Supporting the Annual Review process and preparing necessary credit correspondence.
  • Collaborating with syndicate banks to gather essential due diligence information.

Additionally, the Lead Analyst will ensure adherence to the Bank's Anti-Money Laundering program and Know Your Customer requirements by reporting any suspicious activities in accordance with established protocols.

Essential qualifications include:

  • Strong credit analysis skills, including the ability to assess risk and articulate findings.
  • Intermediate knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities with a focus on solutions.
  • Familiarity with the commercial lending landscape, particularly in automotive finance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, along with relevant specialized software.
