Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic duties, adhering to established standards and protocols.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including patient positioning, technique, and safety protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with industry advancements and best practices.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program.
  • Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and eligible for membership with the BC Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (BCAMRT) and/or CAMRT.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to integrate and evaluate pertinent data to inform professional practice decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
