Position Overview:

The Procure to Pay (P2P) Analyst plays a crucial role within the Supply Chain Service Center (SSC), overseeing a portfolio that supports the procurement of materials and services for various Business Units. This position involves engaging with partners and vendors, investigating issues, and executing transactions such as Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders (PO) management, ensuring compliance with established service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to P2P standards and company policies in all activities.
  • Create and manage purchase requisitions based on defined requirements to support Business Unit operations.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and problem resolution as necessary.
  • Analyze spending patterns and provide guidance on appropriate PO values.
  • Monitor contract expiration and collaborate with Category Management for timely renewals or exceptions.
  • Generate and approve purchase orders within established authority limits.
  • Attach relevant documentation to requisitions and/or Purchase Orders.
  • Facilitate prompt approval and transmission of purchase orders to suppliers.
  • Oversee the purchase order lifecycle, addressing invoice discrepancies and ensuring timely vendor payments.
  • Confirm receipt of materials to guarantee they arrive on schedule and at the correct price.
  • Assist multiple Business Units by addressing inquiries via email and phone.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve any issues.
  • Ensure accurate purchase order creation, including tax code assignments and payment terms.
  • Investigate and resolve invoice issues with the automated payment system.
  • Provide training and mentorship to Procurement Administrators.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Procure to Pay for cross-functional projects.
  • Offer backup support during leader and P2P Advisor absences.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Undergraduate degree in a technical or business-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related business environment.
  • Understanding of procure to pay processes and accounts payable.

Preferred:

  • Certification in Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience in a service center setting.
  • Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.
