About the Role

Nutrien is a leading provider of agricultural products, services, and solutions. We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Functional Lead to join our team and lead the Procure to Pay business function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing team of functional analysts and architects to design and implement SAP solutions.
  • Work with senior business leaders to develop a deep understanding of strategy, process, and business needs.
  • Develop SAP roadmaps, strategy, and budgets to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with 3rd party providers to ensure SAP solutions meet business requirements and follow SAP best practices.
  • Architect and design SAP solutions to meet specific business requirements and ensure integrity of design through to implementation.
  • Determine the optimal approach to develop and deliver required functionality from financial, architectural, and operational perspectives.
  • Ensure integrity of all solutions in the Procure to Pay space through appropriate testing and quality assurance practices.
  • Assist with the prioritization of demand items in the P2P space.
  • Accountable for optimized SAP solution delivery, both planning and execution.
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor team members.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of practical experience in SAP functional solution design and delivery.
  • Minimum 3 years in a senior lead role either directly or indirectly leading a team of SAP professionals.
  • Undergraduate degree or diploma from a recognized university or technical school in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, or related equivalent.
  • Proven leader that can build and lead a high-performing team.
  • Hands-on functional experience working in the following SAP applications/modules: S/4HANA, MM, IM.
  • Proven track record of successful SAP implementations as a Lead Architect.
  • History of designing complex SAP solutions to enable unique business processes.
  • Proven ability of SAP delivery planning, including milestone planning, resource assignment, and securing budget.
  • Experience in SAP development estimation and best practices in solution delivery.
  • Strategic and flexible thinker who can implement timely and workable solutions in a developing and dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including strong presentation skills with experience presenting and fielding questions from senior leaders.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of business stakeholders, from executive to field staff.
  • Willingness to learn, teach, and share information with teammates, peers, management, and users.
  • Outcome-driven.
