Position Overview

The role of the General Manager at DSONS TRANSPORT LTD. involves overseeing the comprehensive operations of our trucking services. This position requires a strategic leader capable of driving efficiency and ensuring the smooth functioning of all departments.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a managerial role within the transportation sector.
Key Responsibilities
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and senior staff roles.
  • Coordinate the activities of various regions, divisions, or departments to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Set objectives for the organization and develop or approve relevant policies and programs.
  • Represent the organization in negotiations or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the company.
  • Select and empower middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, ensuring optimal working conditions.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Oversee a team of 5-10 individuals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Technical Skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Word.
Travel Requirements
