Hollingsgate Workforce Solutions is seeking a seasoned IT professional to fill the role of IT Operations and Compliance Manager.

About the Job:

We are a leading workforce solutions company in Ottawa, and we are currently hiring an IT Operations and Compliance Manager to lead our IT compliance efforts, manage infrastructure, and oversee help desk operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Leadership: Oversee and manage all compliance initiatives, ensuring strict adherence to SOC 2 Type II and ISO/IEC 27001 standards. This includes conducting audits, implementing controls, and meeting certification requirements.
  • Team Development: Mentor the IT team, provide performance evaluations, and foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Project Management: Ensure IT projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget while aligning with overall business objectives.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in IT operations, with at least 7+ years in a leadership role.
  • Hands-on experience with SOC 2 Type II and ISO/IEC 27001 compliance frameworks.
  • Strong project management skills, from planning to execution.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, or PMP certification.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
  • Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate.
  • Experience with security measures beyond basic compliance, such as Zero Trust Architecture or advanced encryption technologies.
