Health Care Aide

The Health Care Aide is a vital member of our home care team, working under the supervision of the Care Coordinator to provide personalized care services to our clients. This role requires a compassionate and caring individual who can work independently and as part of a team to deliver exceptional care.
Responsibilities- Assist with personal care and hygiene, ensuring the client's comfort and dignity are maintained.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks to meet the client's dietary needs.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Accompany clients on outings and provide companionship to enhance their quality of life.
- Assist with shopping and errands, ensuring the client's needs are met.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management.
- Provide safe and dignified transportation for clients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Document and chart client care, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student) is an asset.
- Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to travel around the Lower Mainland.
- Access to reliable transportation.
