Job Summary

The Health Care Aide is a vital member of our home care team, working under the supervision of the Care Coordinator to provide personalized care services to our clients. This role requires a compassionate and caring individual who can build strong relationships with our clients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene, ensuring the client's comfort and dignity
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks to meet the client's dietary needs
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment
  • Accompany clients on outings and provide transportation as needed
  • Assist with shopping and errands, ensuring the client's needs are met
  • Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management
  • Provide ambulation and transportation support to clients
  • Offer companionship and social interaction to clients, helping to prevent loneliness and isolation
  • Document and chart client care plans, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
Qualifications
  • Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student)
  • Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to travel around the location territory
  • Access to internet/mobile phone
