Store Manager in Training

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Savers. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and direction of the store and team, ensuring financial results meet or exceed targets.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and direct the work of the management team and entire team to achieve sales, profit, and productivity targets.
- Oversee the production manager and retail sales manager in planning staffing needs, recruiting, selecting, and training team members.
- Regularly observe, assess, interact, coach, and counsel the team to ensure they are meeting expectations.
- Develop high-potential team members for all management positions through on-the-job training and guided work.
- Maintain a respectful, values-driven workplace and use open communication tools to convert team member input into meaningful action.

- High school diploma; post-secondary degree or diploma preferred.
- 3+ years of results-driven retail store management or industrial management experience.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
The Store Manager will be required to frequently lift and carry products weighing less than 5 lbs, occasionally lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs, and push and pull racks/carts weighing 50 to 250 pounds using 4-10 lbs of force.
The Store Manager will also be required to stand frequently, walk frequently, stoop, bend, and twist, and occasionally kneel to handle and inspect merchandise, validate work processes, train, coach, and counsel the team.
The Store Manager will be required to read written and electronic documents and product labels, and hear and verbally communicate with management, team members, and customers.
The Store Manager will be exposed to hazardous machinery, solvents, radiation, dust, and temperature fluctuations, and will need to adjust their work schedule to the needs of the business, including working some nights, weekends, and holidays.
The Store Manager will need to safely, cautiously, and efficiently navigate the work environment, including large industrial machinery, heavy equipment, and product, elevated and uneven surfaces, and heights, and moving forklifts.
