Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Pre-Construction: Actively participate in estimating turnover and pre-construction meetings to ensure accurate project planning.
  • Project Execution: Support the project Foreperson by developing a strong working relationship and providing project execution guidance for assigned projects.
  • Labor Workforce Management: Effectively manage the labor workforce on assigned projects to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Financial Forecasting: Complete detailed and accurate monthly financial forecasting to inform project decisions.
  • Subcontractor and Supplier Management: Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, review contracts for scope, and ensure projects are completed to standards.
  • Client and Construction Meetings: Attend client and construction meetings to disseminate information and ensure project progress.
  • Job Site Progress: Monitor job site progress, ensure adherence to schedule, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Documentation and Communication: Prepare RFIs, change orders, change directives, and other necessary documentation for the smooth operation of site work.
  • Estimation Support: Assist in the estimation process as needed to ensure accurate project pricing.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure communication and adherence to ELH Mechanical's safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Project Reviews: Attend and participate in project reviews to identify areas for improvement and ensure project success.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in the construction industry in a Project Management position with a focus on mechanical systems/work.
  • Skills: Ability to interpret site and building plans and specifications, comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, and proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge: Working knowledge of contract terms and conditions, understanding of project financial controls, and ability to prioritize tasks based on demand and deadlines.
