Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician to join our team at Emergency Medical Care Inc. as a Paramedic Specialist. As a key member of our medical response team, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and Treat Patients: Assess the extent of injuries or illness of trauma victims to determine emergency medical treatment, administer pre-hospital emergency care, and provide advanced emergency treatments to patients.
  • Transport Patients: Transport patients to hospital or other medical facility for further medical care.
  • Document and Record: Document and record the nature of injuries and treatment provided.
  • Collaborate with Hospital Personnel: Assist hospital personnel with provision of medical treatment, if necessary.
  • Maintain Equipment and Supplies: Maintain ambulances and emergency care equipment and supplies.
Requirements
  • Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence: Possess a valid Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence (ambulances, emergency vehicles and buses with fewer than 24 passengers).
  • Ambulance Driver's Licence: Possess a valid Ambulance Driver's Licence.
  • CPR Certificate: Possess a valid CPR Certificate.
  • Criminal Record Check: Pass a criminal record check.
  • Driver's Validity Licence Check: Pass a driver's validity licence check.
  • Medical Exam: Pass a medical exam.
Work Environment

As a Paramedic Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, and physically demanding conditions. You must be able to work under pressure, maintain attention to detail, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
