Advanced Care Paramedic Job Overview

Emergency Medical Care Inc. is in search of a dedicated Advanced Care Paramedic to enhance our emergency response team. This is a permanent role requiring proficiency in English and a commitment to providing high-quality medical assistance.

Position Details
  • Work Schedule: 42 to 60 hours per week
  • Educational Background: Completion of a college or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and deliver emergency medical care to individuals suffering from trauma
  • Administer medications and provide advanced life support
  • Safely transport patients to appropriate medical facilities
  • Maintain accurate documentation of injuries and treatments provided
  • Support hospital staff as needed during patient handover
  • Ensure ambulance equipment and supplies are well-maintained
Qualifications
  • Possession of a Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence
  • Completion of an Emergency First Response Course
  • Valid ambulance driver's licence
  • Certification in Advanced Life Support (ALS)
Safety and Security Protocols
  • Background clearance is mandatory
  • Criminal record verification required
  • Valid driver's licence check necessary
  • Completion of a medical examination
