Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician to join our team at Emergency Medical Care Inc. as a Paramedic. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the extent of injuries or illness of trauma victims to determine emergency medical treatment
  • Administer pre-hospital emergency care, including medications and advanced emergency treatments
  • Transport patients to hospital or other medical facility for further medical care
  • Document and record nature of injuries and treatment provided
  • Assist hospital personnel with provision of medical treatment, if necessary
  • Maintain ambulances and emergency care equipment and supplies
Requirements
  • Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence (ambulances, emergency vehicles and buses with fewer than 24 passengers)
  • Ambulance driver's licence
  • CPR Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Driver's validity licence check
  • Medical exam
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Driver's abstract
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. They will be required to work under pressure, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
