Job Overview

Educational Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a college diploma or a non-university certificate from a program lasting between 1 to 2 years.

Work Environment

This position is based in a private ambulance service, where teamwork and quick decision-making are crucial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the severity of injuries or illnesses in trauma patients to determine necessary emergency medical interventions.
  • Provide pre-hospital emergency care to patients in need.
  • Administer medications and advanced emergency treatments as required.
  • Safely transport patients to hospitals or other medical facilities for further care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of injuries and treatments provided.
  • Assist hospital staff with medical treatment when necessary.
  • Ensure ambulances and emergency medical equipment are well-maintained and stocked.
Required Certifications
  • Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C License for operating ambulances and emergency vehicles.
  • Ambulance driver's license.
  • Current CPR Certification.
Safety and Security Checks
  • Criminal record check.
  • Verification of driver's license validity.
  • Medical examination.
Transportation Requirements
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Driver's abstract must be provided.
