Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician to join our team at Emergency Medical Care Inc. as a Paramedic. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and Treat Patients: Assess the extent of injuries or illness of trauma victims to determine emergency medical treatment, administer pre-hospital emergency care, and provide advanced emergency treatments to patients.
  • Transport Patients: Transport patients to hospital or other medical facility for further medical care.
  • Document and Record: Document and record the nature of injuries and treatment provided.
  • Collaborate with Hospital Personnel: Assist hospital personnel with provision of medical treatment, if necessary.
  • Maintain Equipment and Supplies: Maintain ambulances and emergency care equipment and supplies.
Requirements
  • Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence: Possess a valid Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence (ambulances, emergency vehicles and buses with fewer than 24 passengers).
  • Ambulance Driver's Licence: Possess an ambulance driver's licence.
  • CPR Certificate: Possess a current CPR Certificate.
  • Criminal Record Check: Pass a criminal record check.
  • Driver's Validity Licence Check: Pass a driver's validity licence check.
  • Medical Exam: Pass a medical exam.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a variable schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing emergency medical care to patients.
