Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Care Paramedic to join our team at Emergency Medical Care Inc. As a key member of our emergency medical services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transportation to medical facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and Treat Patients
    • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical conditions and provide emergency care as needed.
    • Administer medications and provide advanced life support treatments to patients.
  • Transport Patients
    • Transport patients to medical facilities in a safe and timely manner.
  • Document Patient Care
    • Document all patient interactions, including medical history, treatment provided, and any other relevant information.
  • Maintain Equipment and Vehicles
    • Ensure that all emergency medical equipment and vehicles are properly maintained and in good working condition.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications
    • Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence (ambulances, emergency vehicles and buses with fewer than 24 passengers)
    • Emergency First Response Course
    • Ambulance driver's licence
    • Advanced Life Support (ALS) Certificate
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work well under pressure and in fast-paced environments
    • Physical stamina to perform duties in a physically demanding environment
  • Security and Safety
    • Confidential security clearance
    • Criminal record check
    • Driver's validity licence check
    • Medical exam
