Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. In this role, you will provide administrative support to our Paramedic Programs in Saskatoon, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, staff, and external stakeholders, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, files, and databases, ensuring confidentiality and control.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and travel arrangements, preparing agendas, minutes, and reports as required.
  • Develop and implement effective administrative systems and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent, plus a recognized secretarial certificate or diploma, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Minimum one year of recent and relevant experience in administrative and clerical work.
  • Intermediate level proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
