Education Coordinator Opportunity

Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and motivated Education Coordinator to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to assist with the daily operations of our learning centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating educational programs, scheduling, and assessments, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our students and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate educational programs and schedules for students, staff, and teachers
  • Set up and administer assessments to measure student progress
  • Establish and oversee student learning programs to ensure academic success
  • Liaise with community members, including schools, sports teams, and local businesses
  • Maintain contact with parents and meet with them to discuss their child's progress
  • Ensure the Oxford Learning philosophy is maintained throughout the centre
  • Create a fun and energetic learning environment on a daily basis

Requirements:

  • Minimum university degree in a related field (Social Sciences, Languages, Math, and Business preferred)
  • Strong secondary school mathematics skills are an asset
  • Additional language(s) spoken is an asset
  • Experience working in an educational environment with medium to large student bodies
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, online communication apps)
  • Strong phone skills and experience in customer service (experience in sales is preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20 - $23 / hour

Schedule: Evenings, Monday to Friday, Saturday availability
