About the Role

MCK Temiskaming Shores is seeking a skilled Mine Mechanic to join our team. As a Mine Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, including repairs and replacements of defective parts.
  • Operational Support: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements, and operate hoisting and lifting equipment as needed.
  • Commissioning and Testing: Commission systems and components, and perform testing to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
  • Supervision and Guidance: Provide guidance and support to Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanics as needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Other trades certificate or diploma, and 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications and Qualifications: Possess the required certifications and qualifications for the role.
